Which sales count
3 minEvery number on your dashboard starts from one rule: a sale counts only when the customer uses the one-use code from their conversation.
Why a code, and not a time window
Many tools take credit for any order placed within a few days of a message. That’s easy to inflate and hard to check. A personal, single-use code ties one order to one conversation, with no doubt. If the customer orders without it, the sale isn’t ours, and you don’t pay for it.
What’s counted on an attributed order
The product sales: the order subtotal after discounts. Tax and shipping are left out.
For example, an order of $80 made up of $67 of products, $8 shipping and $5 tax counts as $67 of product sales.
Where you can check it
- In the thread: the side panel’s Attributed order shows the product sales, the tax and shipping, and the code used.
- On each invoice: the list of attributed orders, with a CSV.
What doesn’t count
- Orders with no code, or with a different code.
- Review requests: they send a review link, not a code.
- Orders cancelled, or test orders, before they’re billed.
